I always hated that fact

Exterior paint looks awesome, but when you pop the hood it looks like a crappy dull gray color with no clearcoat.

At least Ford painted everything...even the K-member is painted gray. A lot of other color Mustangs i've seen all have black K-members. I wonder why Ford painted the K-member on silver mustangs to match

I don't think I've ever seen an underside of a stang with miss-matched color. My K-member is blue, all the stangs I've worked on have had matching color....only ones I haven't is cars with undercoating, then they's black I did have a guy who came down from MI for me to work on his car ask "Hey why is the underside of your car blue, mines black" when he had a black car haha.

That's good that he got it fixed and it was just something simple, now he needs to get that bad boy dyno tuned before he starts getting into the boost again.

Crap what a scare! But glad everything worked out

Fortunatly iv never had a pipe blow loose. All you need to do is take a pair of vice grips to ever pipe and slightly bend out the pip so it has a little lip....they wont ever come off then. OR just run a few small weld beads around the ends of the pipe.

hotmustang where were you this morning when I needed that advice

the pipe in question had a curve to it and nothing straight to clamp to. I rolled the dremel around the end of the pipe to rough it up. So far it worked well!

I updated my sig

When I get home I will upload the rest of the pictures to my photobucket account. Then you can see more of how I routed the intercooler piping and where I cut the hole in my fender.

these where things I was trying to search for prior to my install, so hopefully they will be able to help a few people out in the future.
