Monte Carlo bar with ac?

I haven`t seen any ways to go here, any suggestions?

My compressor sits up too high and to far back for anything I`ve seen yet.

it can be done on 67-70 small block cars so maybe if you were to change out the AC bracket to a later model unit and/or use the later model engine mounts?

i have one on my 69 351w AC but we did have to tweak the bar a bit to make it fit, which basically entailed bending the curved part of the bar up a bit

i agree with bnickel, find an a/c mount for a sanden compressor that mounts low on the engine. perhaps something from a 5.0 mustang or other fox body car.

actually i'm using the original style York compressor on mine. granted there's not a lot of clearnce between the compressor and the monte bar but it's enough to keep the bar from sitting right on the compressor like it did before i modified the bar
