More Harness Questions Jrichker or Tmoss come on in

I have a 90 harness trying to convert to EFI and i need to find out where some wires go in my car. So here it goes there are three connectors a green black and grey and the wires i need. on the black connector there is a blue/white wire that goes to the O2 sensor harness it isnt on the autozone diagram either, where does this go. Then there is a black/white one that came from the black connector also, it is the signal return from the clutch switch i think, would i have to install this since i alrady have one in my dash? I also have a white purple one and it goes to the to the 02 sensor harness it is looped to a purple wire on the other side than it comes back through the harness and goes to pin 30 which is the neutral or clutch safety switch, should i have to hook this up? Than i have a Dk green/yellow wire that goes from pin 4 splits, one side goes to the coil connector one goes to the dizzy and one went to the grey plug i cut off the grey plug where did this go have any idea? There is a solid red wire that went to the black plug i know it is a 12v source but i cant find it on the skematic it goes to a "distribution block" of red wires, which goes to the MAF meter pin 37 on the EEC, and through out the harness so is this a crank and run or just crank, or run, Than the red/blue wire that comes from the Dizzy goes to the starting and charging system, is this the battery side of the silenoid. The green yellow one goes to the eec relay coil...is that the same as the Coil for the spark plugs, if it isnt where is the eec relay coil? where would be a good place to splice for the red/blue and red/green one that goes to the dizzy? Will the EEC run with out the Neutral safery switch wires black/white and white/purple hooked up, if not can i just splice into my current Neutral safety switch? There is a blue/white wire that goes to the 02 sensor harness connector then on the actual harness there isnt a wire on that side, what is this, and where does it go?

I had to try and edit you post to try to make it more understandable. Please make any changes that are needed and I will attempt to help you with the wiring.

The best way do do a post on wiring problems is to make a new paragraph when you change wire colors or circuit functions. That way you keep thoughts from running together and reading like spagetti soup.

I have a 90 harness trying to convert to EFI, and I need to find out where some wires go in my car. There are three connectors: a green, a black, and a grey, plus the wires I need.

On the black connector there is a blue/white wire that goes to the O2 sensor harness. It isn’t on the Autozone diagram either, where does this go?

There is a black/white wire that came from the black connector. I think it is the signal return from the clutch switch. Would I have to install this since I already have one in my dash?

I also have a white purple wire, and it goes to the to the 02 sensor harness. It is looped to a purple wire on the other side. Then it comes back through the harness and goes to pin 30, which is the neutral or clutch safety switch. Should I have to hook this up?

Then I have a dk green/yellow wire that goes from pin 4 and splits two ways. One side goes to the coil connector, one goes to the dizzy and one went to the grey plug I cut off. Where did the grey plug go? Do you have any idea?

There is a solid red wire that went to the black plug. I know it is a 12v source, but I can’t find it on the schematic. It goes to a "distribution block" of red wires, which goes to the MAF meter pin 37 on the EEC, and through out the harness. So is this a crank and run or just crank, or run?

Then the red/blue wire that comes from the Dizzy goes to the starting and charging system. Is this the battery side of the solenoid?

The green/yellow wire goes to the EEC relay coil. Is that the same wire as the coil for the spark plugs? If it isn’t, where is the EEC relay coil?

Where would be a good place to splice for the red/blue and red/green one that goes to the dizzy?

Will the EEC run with out the Neutral safety switch wires black/white and white/purple hooked up? If not, can I just splice into my current Neutral safety switch?

There is a blue/white wire that goes to the 02 sensor harness connector. On the actual harness there isn’t a wire on that side. What is this, and where does it go?

On the black connector there is a blue/white wire that goes to the O2 sensor harness. It isn’t on the Autozone diagram, It goes to the o2 sensor connector and there isnt a wire on the other side for it. what could this possibly go to?

There is a black/white wire that came from the black connector. I think it is the signal return from the clutch switch. Would I have to install this since I already have one in my dash? I want to do it properly where would i hook this up if i need to?

there is a white purple wire, and it goes to the to the 02 sensor harness.

Where would be a good source for this to be spliced to just a wire that is hot during /crank/run.

Then the red/blue wire that comes from the Dizzy goes to the starting and charging system. Is this the S or I side of the silenoid? If not where would a good crank only source be?

The red/green is a crank/run i know this can i just find a wire that is hot during crank/run and splice it in?

There ya go Jrichker have fun if you have any questions i should be on around 430 tomorrow (thurs) to check my e-mail i will check this also and thanks for everything again.

here is more of a description of the same stuff above

One wire is Blue/yellow or blue/white it goes to the o2 sensor harness connector but there is no wire on the other side for the pin to connect to, what is this wire and does it need hooked up it went to the black connector.

Next is a white/purple wire that goes to the o2 sensor harness it plugs in and meets a purple/yellow wire on the other side which comes back through the harness and goes to the EEC pin # 30. I believe this is for the neutral safety switch, does this need hooked up, considering i already have one under my dash if it does can i just splice this to the wires on the EEC?

Next wire is a green/yellow it comes from the EEC pin#4 it goes down has that 22kohm resistor on it and after that it splits into three wires, one goes to the dizzy, one to the coil connector and the third went to the grey connector, once again this isnt on the diagram.

There was a tan/green wire that came from the EEC test that wetnt to the black connector, can i run this wire to my fuel pump relay as the key on? I think this is where it went anyways but i am not for sure.

There is a red/blue wire that i know is a crank only source, it goes to the dizzy, where would be a good place to connect this wire maybe the S side of the silenoid?

There s a red/green, wire this is crank/run power would it be ok to find a wire that is crank/run and splice into it or is there a better place?

There is a soild red wire that went to the black connector, it goes to a "distribution block" of red wires that go throughout the harness now i know this is a 12v source but does anyone know if it is run only or crank/run ect?

I have the green connector figured out i think please correct me if i am wrong
Grey/yellow- this powers the 02 sensors run only
Pink/black- fuel pump monitor, i think this goes to the relay pin 19 on the EEC. I dont know if this is run/or crank or both anyone know.
Green/white-VSS +
Orange/White- VSS-
Tan- goes to the eec test pin#17 on the EEC, this runs the check engine light.

That is all i have for now i will try and load some pictures tomorrow if i can get a camera. I am open for any ideas. Keep them coming. Thanks for looking
