Why couldn't Ford have been like GM and installed the tire pressure sensor as part of the valve stem?! Idiots!

Knock on wood, I haven't noticed the TMPS idiot light or got a message in the message center after hitting reset once it came up the first time. Don't know why, don't care. Only had the wheels 1 week, but I've got plenty of driving in. If it does start to come up whenever I start the car, I'll get the old sensors off of the original wheels & do the PVC tube project.

tom: hope you're luck doesn't run out! it took the computer in my car a week to figure out the sensors were gone. now it gives me the sensor message every time, but i just hit reset every time.

Well, it took a week, but it came on. It only comes on every once in a while though; not every time.
