Ok first I don't know what a "load" is. I know there is LL ML 2345345.....but I have no idea what this means nor any idea what the timing should be at these points. What is the timing stock when the base is at 10 and how much does it get boosted at each rpm. Plus do i want more timing in the beginning and work down towards higher rpm or vice versa. I am just really comfused. And why won't the idle control work?

Next time you drive look at the handheld (don't run off the road) where it says load. The numbers will vary up a scale from 1-7 depending on where the load is on the throttle. Say if you pull off and you hold the throttle down lightly at a consistent pressure the load my be on 1 when your throttle is about 15% down, if you add more pressure the load will move to 2 say at about 20% down and so on. When the scale reaches 5 its considerade M load.
Your HL would be a mirror of your WOT table settings. You can add timing if you are not pinging. That's the beauty of the PMS is that you can adjust timing and fuel by adding or subtracting in a specific rpm or load setting. You'll get it all in a few days, it took me about a week. Your boost table will not work until you add a 3 bar map sensor.
Pull out your spout and set your timing to 10* and then put the spout back in.
Are you running an aftermarket ignition?

I put this in another post..

The key is tuning in a custom curve on your cars combo. The O4 PMS is the best mod ever since the blower install.
I've been tuning it for a week now and I believe I have it almost perfected! It takes awhile to get it all figured out on fuel and timing but the curve is what you want but I'm still learning myself.

Idle table:

Timing @ 10*
Start up Fuel @ -30

Idle Control: Off

P/T table:
I started with setting part throttle tables (LL,ML & HL) until I had no pinging and felt max power. I worked with the timing in LL first and drove around and did the ML next and HL last.

LL 2 3 4 ML 5 6 7 HL
2000 10 10 10 10 -5 -5 -10 -10 -10
2500 10 10 10 10 -5 -5 -10 -10 -10
3000 10 10 10 10 -5 -5 -10 -10 -10
3500 10 10 10 10 -5 -5 -10 -10 -10
4000 10 10 10 10 -5 -5 -10 -10 -10
4500 10 10 10 10 -5 -5 -10 -10 -10
5000 10 10 10 10 -5 -5 -10 -10 -10
5500 10 10 10 10 -5 -5 -10 -10 -10
6000 10 10 10 10 -5 -5 -10 -10 -10
6500 10 10 10 10 -5 -5 -10 -10 -10

WOT table:
I set timing next in here same as the PT table until I had max power and then no pinging.

3-4K -15*= (10* total timing)

4-5K -10*= (15* total timing)

5-7K -5* = (20* total timing)

I use Standalone : On @ 2200 RPM (automatically starts timing @ 25* total +/- what I added in the other menus.)

It took me over a week after install to get it tuned just right and it will change everyday b/c you pick up so much info and learn a lot about your car in the process.
