More Stupid Noob Qs

I'd say it all depends on your money situation. Get to know your local J/Y people. They can be your best friends. If you can pick up a nice low mileage engine and have it redone, "if nessasary" that's the route I would take. As long as your engine is running now, why spend a ton of money on a block. If you just have a bunch on money you want to get rid of then, send it to me.....LOL

Can any shop do this? I work at a dodge dealership thats why I ask. Have them find out for me. For the most part the car was taken care of and was lady driven. But I have some small issues I need to get fix -ie heater core and start up issue

Thanks so far guys

So I was doing some thinking. And before anyone says anything I did some searching but didnt see the answer I was actually looking for in a sense.

My car has a little over 180,000 miles on it. I am quite concern about the block even though it is running strong. SO basically my question is well more like what should I do is.

Should I go buy a block that someone else has taken off there car and bring it to a machine shop to get all new forged parts put in.

or

Should I just go and see what short blocks are available that already are all done up

Try this link for a great deal on a short block.

I dunno see thats why for the topic. Cause I rather take care of this before it does become an issue. BTW my plans for this car is to do the basic mods h/c/i and hopefully by next summer a s/c

Thanks in Advance
