More than meets the eye...

read your manual. it's easy

turn you key on (don't start the car)
wait for the seatbelt light to shut off (about 1 minute).
as soon as it shuts...buckle and unbuckle your belt 9 times, end with it UNBUCKLED.

you will see the AIRBAG light flash...then buckle and unbuckle one more time.
your done for one seat
then start the car....shut if off.....repeat for the passenger seat.

Awesome..I've read parts of the owners manual, but not that part. I just went out and tried it, seems to work. Thanks! That seat belt warning was annoying.

In my line of work I NEVER buckle up because I just drive the cars like a hundred yards behind the dealership. Maybe I've learned to filter out the ding sound by doing 20+ cars a day...

I have an idea...why not wear your seatbelt!? It will only save your life. I won't let a passenger ride in my car w/o wearing seatbelts. I'm liable for them going thru the windshield while I stay in my seat buckled in.

Jenn-your question about the seatbelt chimes in the backseat? I don't think ford actually expected anyone to ever sit back there.

Anyone know how to disable the turn signal on too long chime? I really hate that one.
