As stated my new 7qt moroso oil pan is interfering with the cutch cable where it attaches to the bellhousing.... there seems to be no way to get the retaining part of the cable seat in its location on the Bellhousing, even when filing the interfering points.

Has anyone had this issue? how has it been resolved?
thinking about fabbing a bracket to hold it just off the side using the original hole where it should be as an anchor point for the bracket, but im not sure if the angle to the clutch fork will have a conflict.

Since it is a cable pulling the clutch release fork, being at a bit of an angle should not be a problem. The clutch adjustment will change, as it may take a bit more cable length to accommodate the new position. The adapter/spacer you use will have to be sufficiently strong enough to handle the load of the release fork when compressing the pressure plate.
That being said, I have never had an issue with cable interference when using a Canton oil pan, 7 qrt or otherwise.
