my tax return is here, dyno tune here we come!!!what do I do or ask for with with my dd? I drive 40% hw and 60% stp-n-go. I'm looking for the best all around tune for the dd without having to run 91-93oct gas. bump the timing im told and fix the a/f ratio for optimum. also im going to instal 3.73 gears, do i need to do the gear install way before the tune so they will brakein? or is it cool to it all in the weekend. my mods are CAI, 70MM TB, C&L PLEN, UD-PULLIES, MAC-PRO CHAMBER, LEAD FOOT (FUN FACTOR):D other than timing and a/f what else is their to it???

You should put a couple hundred miles on the gears to break them in first, but that's something that's been debated forever. I personally peeled out leaving the parking lot after mine were installed, and never allowed them to break in by anything other than normal driving.
Some people recommend just getting the gears hot, then park the car to let them cool, then repeat that process a few times.

I'd just tell the dyno tuner what you just told us, but if those really are all your mods, I wouldn't bother getting a tune.. you don't really have anything to take full advantage of one.. I'd spend the money on something more productive, then get a tune later on down the road.
