i'm looking to buy this, but have some questions: does this combo make the steering wheel closer to the driver? and, i read here about gap issues of 1/2" to 1/4" with the steering column being moved. will i likely have that problem on my car? also, any good sources to buy from?

I'm not aware of a quick release hub for Moto Lita wheels, I just browsed their web site and found no listing.

The wheel using the 66 Mustang mounting hub will be further away from the driver not closer. The wheel, at least most are flat, not dished like the original wheel. I installed on of these on my 66 and had to bend the lever for the turn signals as I kept hitting it with my knuckles as I turned the wheel.

You can adjust the sleeve of the steering column to close the gap between the sleeve and the hub after mounting it. Just loosen the two bolts under the dash and slide to column where you want it to be.

I removed the pins on the hub for canceling the turn signals, they never worked and made the most annoying clicking sound.

Tony Branda sells these wheels, http://www.cobranda.com/GetItemDetail.asp?ItemID=4293&CatID=671&DeptID=10

I just installed mine last night. it took a while to figure out how the quick release worked w/out any instructions. do you still have a horn? i've seen a button type at cobra accessories.

No horn yet, haven't needed it since the exhaust is louder then any horn ;^)
