Hi, I'm making an order from summit..im up here in Canada so i try to order a bunch of parts for future upgrades to cut down on shipping costs. I want to buy some motor mounts for my vert..they sell Energy Suspension motor mounts, but do not specify verts. Now..what do i need to do to change them?? do i hoist the engine yup?

also, should i just go to the dealer and get all the OEM parts instead?

thanks

Verts were encapsuled mounts. All mounts made after a certain year were the encapsuled. You can't go wrong with the Energy Suspension or Prothane.

Unbolt the fan and you can use a block of wood under the oil pan to jack the motor up a bit. You will also need an impact more than likely.

I agree. By 93, all motor mounts were captured.

As for which ones, that's up to you. If going aftermarket, it seems like there are some Canadian vendors (2Kool Performance, etc) that might save some tariff/shipping charges.

There are numerous threads about changing the mounts, with specs and some pics, if desired.

Good luck.
