I get this vibration at 1500-1700 rpms and it smooths out untill 3000 rpm, if I rev it up in park or netraul , you can feel the vibration, I checked the harmonic balancer and the rubber is intact....I also checked the motor mounts and the were hard and chipping away...could bad motor mounts cause a vibration at a low rpm range

I couldn't see the motor mounts in that pic, but bad mounts could cause more vibration and movement from the engine -- could be the tranny mount too. The tranny is easy to do, might want to do them all at once.

When you get on or off the throttle, does the engine move around alot? If the mounts were bad, you would hear a clunk more then feel vibration. Your balancer might look good, but looks can be decieving. When the engine is rotating, does it wobble?

also, might want to check timing (goin along the line of thinking that Jason is using) - if your timing light shows up somewhere rediculous on the outer ring, that suggests that it slipped....
Adam, i think he was waiting for Superman to read this - X-ray vision is needed to see the mounts. J/K :D
