MPH gain from gears?

So I know that gears are good for acceleration. Will a shorter gear get you much in MPH?

I am going nuts trying to decide between 3.73's and 4.10's. My current fastest trap speed is 108 with 3.55 gears. If I go to a 4.10, will the MPH increase to a point where I will run out of RPM at the end of the track? The calculators show that ~110 is the fastest I can go in 4th gear @ 6k RPM. Will I gain 2MPH from the gears?

Whats your combo? I should get around 4-6mph from a gear swap b/c the 3.73's I have are hurting me BAD! I need 4.30's. But it depends on the combo.

I am making just over 300 to the wheels. It's the stock motor on Nitrous. THe combo runs out of steam at about 5500 max.
