i purchaced a set of msd injectors 72lb....they are a universal fit but will they fit my holley systemax intake, and aero rails...i will be purchacinga low impedence driver from anderson to compliment my pms
i know they are low impedence, thats not the problem, i was wondering if i would hav a problem fitting them into the manifold.... the guy at msd said they are universal, but resemble a delco injector, similar to a gm... going to be running about 14lb now but going to up grade my blower to a ysi trim 18lb probally...... just bought a iron eagle boss block and scat forged rotating assembally ross pistons..331..custom grind cam.... magnafuel fuelsys. 575 series pump.... want to make 700+ hp
So is it a Dart Iron Eagle or an FRPP Boss block? Two different parts there.....
If the injectors are "universal," then they most likely are dimensionally similar to the standard Bosch design that Ford has used for the last 25+ years for port injection. The O-rings are 14mm OD. When measured from the outer edges of the o-rings, the distance should be about 2 11/16". Total overall injector length is right about 3".
When in doubt, check the dimensions supplied by MSD against your present injectors.
