before i order, just wanted some opinions. im putting together my 331/s-trim combo, and im getting down to just the little stuff to put back on. ive been lookin at the MSD #8455. besides the " might suddenly die" name that MSD has been givin. overall what do you guys think about there distributors. think its worth the money? or just swap my stocker over?

note: i also have a MSD 6al going in too.

I ran a MSD dizzy in my 331 nitrous combo because when my stock one broke it was almost the same price for a stock replacement as the MSD. It worked great for me, It looks great too. It survived the punishment I put it through (lots of motor passes, twice as many nitrous passes) If yours is really old it might be a good idea to buy one just for the convenience factor. MSD can always rebuild them...stockers have a tendancy to break and be un repairable.

I run one...at 276.00 they're not cheap as I'm sure your aware...I was in the market to replace my stock unit and the ignition stuff before it took a dump when I was doing up the motor...I went PD ignition system and the MSD 8455...I just had a woody about getting the MSD and PD's dizzy was even more...Had it in about 10k now and not lick of trouble..

well thanks for all the replys. i went ahead and ordered one. i would have just swapped my stocker over, but my new motor looks so pretty i dont wanna put the old one in. and i got so much money into this porject already, whats another 275$? lol
