Can anyone post up where they have their MSD ingition box located at?

Mine was right near the intake of my vortech, I'm trying to clean up the engine bay wit hall the wires and ect. I would put it where the battery is BUT i dont have the funds to relocate the battery to the rear as of yet. I've seen a few people mount it on the frame rail. I'm worried about water getting in to it. The only other thing would be to mount it in the car, under the dash if possible.

Any idea?

Its for a 91 fox hatch

I put mine behind the CD player in my notch when i swaped everything. I didn't have to extend any wires or anything.I had the fenders off there is a plug behind the fender, there is a vac line going through it. It took all that stuff out and ran my wires through it all the way down the inner fender to the coil.

I mounted mine under the dash kinda behind the radio. All the wires were long enough. I just drilled a hole in the firewall and used the grommet that was supplied. I will snap a picture for you if you want me to?

Mine is on the opposite side of the fender under the battery. So far I havn't had any issues with water but I don't drive it in the rain if I can avoid it. It also stays cooler down there away from the engine compartment.

I like the placement inside the car because all the wiring gets hidden that way.

Mine is in driverside fender next to the horn. Mounted on the inner fender where the battery sits in the engine bay. (where the washer fluid goes) could give pics tommorrow.

I also found the Frame Rail under the Battery to be the Ideal Location as it is pretty much hidden and protected, and its close to the Coil so the wiring harness kit reaches.
