Are there supposed to be bushings on the door latch posts? Doors won't stay securely latched and pop slightly open. If so, are the bushings available seperately or do I have to purchase the whole thing?

RockAuto lists the striker as Dorman Part # 38421 with a price of $10.

As I remember, the washer is swaged onto the striker, so the bushing is not replacable. In the past, I have bought a pack of universal bushings and sliced one lengthwise to slip over the striker. Not a great solution though.

You will need a large Torx bit to remove the striker. If I remember right, the same size is also used on the seat belt hardware.

A ton of other Fords use the same latch so a trip to the yard might find yourself one.

So I guess that the washer comes off of the striker then?

Thanks, guys. After I wrote the post a friend at work told me Autozone had them in stock. Purchased at 7.99 each plus 4 bucks for the torx bit cause I didn't want to wait any longer. Appreciate the help as I never replaced one.
