Mustang myth #485940a

Modding a mustang is cheap

Cold air intakes do absolutly nothing.

You dont need 24lb injectors for 300rwhp.

Nitrous does not blow up your motor, stupidity blows up your motor.

Shorty headers do next to nothing besides tone maybe.

No front sway bar does not make your car unstreetable.

Putting premium in a stock mustang or when you dont need it (no timing advance) does absolutly nothing for your car.

MT ET Radials do not wear out in 2 months, Ive had mine on since May and drive my car 5 days a week to school/work along with small burnouts here and there. Not even down to the wearline yet.

Im sure Ill think of more.

I run 91-93(depending what the station has I go to) or else my car pings, b/c I am running 15* timing, When gas prices are high I drop it to the stock 10 and run 87-89 though

My ashtry door amost works. I actually bought the spring from a salvage yard during a random trip with my brother in law for moparts.

I really love heater cores, after practicing for over 20 years, I can change one in 5 hours and 33 minutes.

BIGGEST MYTH EVER..

the K member.. is a black hole for your tools.. and bolts.. its magnetized and attracts your very expensive snap on ratchet and that hard to find bolt specially made to that part.. and eats it.. i've lost so many parts in that damn thing..
