I have a 88 Convertible with a 93 motor, all the electronics have been swapped. Ran into trans issues. I had an 88 bolted up to it and was fine, just no lockup. 8,000 miles later front pump seal went and tranny cooked. Bought a new converter and trans mount, put the orignal 93 trans in and now it won't go into fouth or OD. Maybe electrical my not be. tranny was a bit cooked, driveline was out of a 93 hatch I totalled.
In any case I need to find her a new home. I have four cars right now and have had to pass on some deal due to space. Car runs and drives, just won't engauge fouth and there is a "tinny" sound like something is metal is rubbing. Motor had head completely replaced 10k ago. Hate to see her go. Body is ok new paint about 1 1/2 year ago but rust bubbles are in a few spots, headlights are nice, it's red/red with white top, top could use a replacement but does not leak. good rubber.
