quick.. i replaced my heater core.. got every thing back together with only 1 screw left lol.. but i cant get the vents to blow.. ive read everything about the vaccum lines under the hood being broken but all those are perfectly ok.. i went in through the head unit and the ac guages and found what i think is the yellow line that everyone is talking about.. it was pretty loose and when i pushed it a little.. it came out.. it connects to the back of the ac guages.. the switch that allows you to pick max ac vent floor etc... i wanna know if this is the right yellow line and where it connects too.. its not a big deal but its gonna drive me nuts!

i think i found where that goes.. connected it to a silver thing that had a skinny little pipe sticking down.. if your staring at the ac guages.. its behind it, up a bit and to the left.. but still no vent.. could it be something electrical.. could there be a part missing?? any help would be appreciated.

The question is did it work before you replaced the heater core? If it did not the yellow vacuum line goes to the vacuum motor located to the right of the intrument cluster. It either has a hole in the diaphram or the hose came off. Mine was full of oil because it had a hole in it which allowed it to suck engine oil and cause a small vacuum leak. It is a PITA to replace and can only be found in a juck yard. If it worked before you replaced the heater core than it is the same vacuum line that runs from the ac/heater controls and passes under the heater core to the engine compartment. You can find the lines right behind the glove box. Good Luck
