The 1-800 number told me that my unit was damaged in shipping!! :bang:
Then a week later it stated that there was no information for my unit. I did not mention this to the dealer to see what he would say. He told me that my car didn't make the truck to be shipped and did not make it here this week like it was supposed to but should be here next week.
So, I decided to confront the dealer on this and tell him that I heard that my unit was damaged and now there is no info on it. I also asked if the car may possibly be in their bodyshop now. He denied the allegations and said that they are required to tell me if there was any damage that they fixed to a brand new car. He said his inventory guy was on vacation but he would find out for me as soon as possible if it is indeed damaged. I have a feeling my car is right down the road in a body shop somewhere and I can't see it!! :(
What do you guys think? :nonono:

Tough call on that one....If you don't get any satisfaction from your dealer, I believe a call by you to the Ford line directly would be in order. I sure would hate to take possession of a new car that has already seen time in the body shop..Who knows what the damage was.....

Thats what I'm afraid of and that's why I let him know that I knew already. Hopefully he will tell me the truth. I do my research and have a friend is has been in the body industry for the past 6 years so I feel comfortable he would be able to see any imperfections.

I agree and think you should contact Ford directly. My 2005 GT Premium (Satin Silver w/Red Leather Interior) is SUPPOSE to be here by the end of April. I ordered it on January 21 and everyone at my dealership is an idiot. I've been calling to check on it every month and get a different story each time I call.
