Can't blame that one on you, huh?
I just like the look, all those holes were driving me crazy.
There was a big group hounding me on that one too.
Still, you all hound me about things I would like to do in the first place.

Those are billet specialties, right? That's what I want as well. I'm going to have mine powder coated the same color as the gt decal on my hood (see my avatar). Thinking an eggshell/semi gloss finish.

Yes! And that would look awesome

Can't remember. They've been on the car for a long time. I believe it's 6.
Here's a pic when I first put them on

They are great in the back. Put the same ones up front and they haven't held up well. Swapping the fronts out for something with a harder compound. Street driving has all but ruined them in under 10k miles.

I run a limiter but the rim is what hit before the tire. Plenty of room up front.

Are you kidding? That's what this place is about.. It always starts out like....Your car is Killer, but it would look sooo much better if......

Like.......

Your car looks really good,...but it would look sooo much better with some nice wheels.

1200.00 later..

Or,....

Those gauges look really good, but they don't fit the theme of your car. Your car would look sooo much better w/ a more period correct set of analog gauges instead..

1200.00 later..

Things like this drive us all,...it's what guarantees that you see what you're missing that others see.
I have to admit,...in both instances above, the second version looks waay better than the previous version did. I argued with everybody, stating that my decision to go this way, or that was set in stone. After the stone was smashed, and the dust settled
the peer pressure always seemed to prevail.

I know Mike, it's actually pretty fun for me to listen to the ideas.
BTW, I really dig the second set of gauges on the red car.
I'm 53 now and not swayed by silly things that come along (at least not as much as I used to be!). Most of these ideas that are presented to me that I didn't have in my plans that I'm doing now are things I would have liked to do anyhow. I either didn't feel I had the capability or finances to complete those sub projects in a timely manner.
So I'm not whining.
Using Pink Floyd against me is a very effective tactic. Dark side of the moon was my personal rock and roll awakening. I was only ten when it came out, but how could a person listen to David Gilmour plays his guitar and not just stop to listen. I saw them in concert some 23-24 years ago. Best concert I ever attended.
Anywho....Thanks for the help man. If I can be of help to you on your paint job, let me know. I wish I could come out there to help. I used to have some very close friends in Hueytown. I spent news years eve there back in '87 doing very foolish things.
