I was never an olive liked till two things happened:

I started drinking martinis, ( aka straight vodka )

We went to Spain.

Since then, especially the latter, where they serve a really good, very green olive as a tid-bit before a meal.

Since coming home from there, occasionally the wife and I will cut up a bunch of cheeses, get some crackers, get some salami/ summer sausage and pour a bowl full of them olives. open a bottle of wine, put on some music, and call that dinner.

I cut the cheese all of the time Mike, but you would think my wife would appreciate that, wouldn't you? But really, not as much as you would think.....

Noobz?! Have you ever tried an olive in your beer? I think not! Olives help to impart a slightly salty flavor, with a savory flavor that you should try prior to condemning. Haters gonna hate.

Step out buddy, try something new. It's gooooood.

Me thinks mayhaps, you might be more comfortable in a shiny new 6-cylinder Cabriolet.

Sooooo, you guys are making me feel so bad...... So, you can just......shut up! There! You're momma is fat and ugly too. Besides, so what if I want silky smooth and a woody, at least that's what my wife told me.....

Anywho, I'm up finishing the prepping on my Doby. I'll finish it here in a few minutes. Yay!

Tomorrow she gets loaded on the trailer!

The guy that runs the plasma cutter at work is all of the sudden real busy. So I'm just cutting out the pieces for the frame notch with my cut off wheel. I'm wanting to have all of those pieces cut and cleaned up today.

I didn't get around to trying out the bearing baking last night like I said I would. I'll do that some time this week though. I would imagine Allen knows what he's talking about.

Doby is ready for paint!

It seems like it took a while to get back to this point.

Just think what Doby would be like if I had got the right color the first time around. The engine bay wouldn't be smoothed for sure.

There would be no mini-tub on the way (@RaggedGT ). No coilovers, no lots of things.

Funny how things work out, huh?

You sir have come a long way in a very short time. And all the extra modifications done will pay off big time when its all said and done and you are tucking 335's and listening to that Blower whine.

@Davedacarpainter I personally have used the Qa1 coilovers on my 84'. They worked very well and supported the car for quite a while; hell, we went as fast as a 1.21 60' on those shocks! I have since upgraded to a much higher end shock and have seen small improvements of 60' times to a 1.19. I also have Viking shocks on my 2015 and have been happy with them as well. Personally if I had to choose, it would be Qa1 simply because that is the devil I know.
