Ok, I scuffed the inside of the tubs with a red scotchbrite in preparation to spray the seam sealer on them.
I'll shoot the seam sealer tomorrow after I cut my grass.
Here's the gun and seam sealer I will be using
I will also sit inside of doby and finally get all of the interior seam sealer. If y'all remember, that's where I was starting prior to the battle boxes, engine bay smoothing and mini-tub.
So, we have come full circle, now the student has become.......the master! BAAHAAHAAHAA (ok, you have to read that last line with a slightly maniacal voice in your head to get the full effect).
I'll shoot the seam sealer tomorrow after I cut my grass.

Hey guys, I'm kind of eager to try out that sprayable seam sealer gun today.
I've never used one before, the guys at work tell me four tubes of seam sealer will be enough for the tubs.
idk, if nothing else, one tub will be insulated extremely well.
Reality is hitting me at this stage of the build. I've been wanting to pay cash for everything for this build as I go along. There's just BUNCHES of stuff coming up that needs to be bought. I may buckle in and use a (AAAAAHHHHHH!) credit card.
Damn, it makes me feel dirty. My son is tweaking me really hard to get my old truck.
If I pay this credit card $500 a month, it might be alright.

I was going to cut my grass, so out I go. Well, I really should trim the apple tree.....and the tree from my neighbors yard is stretching deeply into my yard.
So, ok, I trim the trees, cut them into nice bite size bunches for the garbage man. My wife comes out with shock in her eyes on what I just did to the apple tree and asks me if I'm going to get ready soon......???
My granddaughters eighth birthday party is today! Crap! I thought it was tomorrow!!
Sooo, maybe I'll get the seam sealing done tonight.
Tomorrow I have to do the annual preparations for my wife's birthday. It's on Monday and traditionally I wait till the actual day, but she's turning 50 this year. This makes her feel old, so I will need to have a special performance prepared to avoid the menopause bashing that would surely follow a lame effort on my part.
Ah well, of to the races I guess. Talk more when I do something on Doby.
