Build Thread My 1986 T-top Build - Lasting Memories

Betting the yard Robys at has a few 351's sitting around. I really feel for you dave, and I'm sorry you are going through all this. Is there anyway to get through to your brother that changing the agreeed upon price Isn't going to happen? Maybe just pay off the note he has on it and call it done.. I ask because he sounds like the type of guy (I've known a few) that will get your money and not pay off the loan/note against Doby

So here's my thoughts:

Tell your brother that, if he wants the car, he gives you back whatever you paid for it in the first place, plus materials/parts you've put into it, and standard shop rate of however many hours you've put into it.

Any way to file a mechanics lein or some such on it? Perhaps the threat of that would be enough (though obviously not ideal). Or even the the threat of legal action for payment on all the work already performed?

And what kind of bank does an actual vehicle loan on a 20+ year old car? When I bought my fox in 06 I had to do a signature loan because they wouldn't do a standard car loan on anything over 10 years old?

Good question about the loans, I don't know.

My credit union did an auto loan on my 1993. The purchase price was less than book price, I have a good credit score, and it was a 3 year loan at 3%. It was paid off in
1.
