I sit here thinking about what is going to happen this year. Well, here is what I came up with. Please feel free to add any other predictions.

1. Oink will get the magazine feature he well deserves..

2. Killer goes 11.99 in his vert, then publicly retires the yellow beast...

3. Jesse goes high 10's in his yellow coupe backed by vortech...

4. My stang shocks everyone when they see what was done over the winter...

Again, you heard it here first.. Now, I'll just have to dig this up at the end of the year and see how many I got right...

1. RC finally hits the track but finds out how bad the engine compartment looks in flourecent light. In disgust he decides to just watch.

2. Killer pulls both wheels up on his incredible 11.9 pass. Shortly after he revisits his high school Guidance Counselor and says "My goal in life has been met, Thanks!"

3. Onebad95 runs down the 1/8 mile in boxer shorts because RIO5.0 gets in the 12's with his Thumper combo.

Onebad95, i bet #1,2 and 4 come true! However i no longer have the vortech. I made the decision to go with something a little better

Anything new happening to yours charlie, besides the vortech of course?

Ok i guess i will share! Tying not to let people in my area find out tho (the competition). Going with a HP single turbo kit. Ordering on tuesday. Im very excited to say the least.

Damn it Jesse... I want that setup!!! I truely am jealous, but happy for you... that thing is going to freaking rock!!!


Charlie- man I sure hope your right!!! I'm not holding my breath though that I'll run 11.99, that just isn't possible in a NA 'vert is it!?!? I've been saying I was done drag racing the car since it went 12.9... but it keeps getting faster and faster so I can't throw in the towel yet but that day is fast approaching.

I predict that the number of 12 second NA cars on here will double this coming year, and we will have more than one guy in the 10's.

Please make sure the 1/8 mile in boxer shorts get video'd, I have to see that!

Paul - I'm hoping to contribute to the doubling of the 12 sec NA verts. I should get my stuff from Ed this week and I'm ordering the Nitto's in about a month so I can have then for SCCA this yaer.......

I just want to see RC go to the track, that in itself would be a shock . you dident build a car like that just to rub it w/ a diper and baby it did you

My goal by the end of 2004 is to have a twin turbo car faster than Oinks and hope to break into the 11's with it and still keep it a daily driver.

Please let us know how that HP kit goes. What did they say the delivery time would be? I've had my eye on one of those things for a while. They seems to be about the best looking kit out there, and very complete.

i talked to tom at HP on the phone. he said it would be 21 business days. So about 1 month.

I priced out all the kits.. PTK is having 15% off, but you must add coating to the price, and then you need a shorty h pipe as well. Hp comes with everything needed.

Needless to say my budget went through the roof this winter. What started out to be "just" an S trim, turned into afr's/ fti, and now a turbo kit lol. But it should be the last power adder i ever buy for this car.

A mustang that runs? Whats that?! I think I had one of those a couple months ago!

FYI - Painting almost everything in the engine bay takes a crapload of time and patience! And your car not running for a while.

My 04 Goals are..( some sooner then others)

*To have my car at the FFW in Gainsville completely done and dyno tuned.
*To have a flawless/clean/not overdone/unique engine bay
*Get a Mag feature ( ahah, I wish)
*Car to dyno over 500, and il be happy
*Run 128-132mph 10.8-10.9 would be nice)
*To drive it every other day, have fun, and keep safe.
