The adjustor works by tricking the EEC.

I dunno about you, but if i have a lot of expensive parts on my engine, i don't want my tune to be "tricked" at all.

For me, it's custom-burned dyno chip or nothing at all. Too much money invested to be trying to fool the car to gain 10HP.

NO it does not add 20hp. I didn't buy it, I got it for FREE. You probably wouldn't notice it on a Dyno, but I've felt a bit of a difference.

What they tell the engine is a different position for the throttle:
Actual Adjustment
20% 40%
50% 70%
70% 100%
approximately...therefore, faster throttle response.

Sorry Ryan.

Huh, sounds legit to me then. Did you order the engine oil bypass kit? Why dirty up that expensive oil by running it through the motor.
I just ordered some cross drilled brake lines and a couple boost bars myself

Its a gimmik, it only is causeing your cars computer to realize the tps is out of range so the computer will compensate for that by changing its signal curve on the sensor. TPS will not gain hp, only change the way the car idles and how much fuel to add under different throttle points in relation to air and load.
Effectively you have only succeded in lowering your mileage.

Wow, we treat our cars like society views success in life - always looking for shortcuts.

Ryan, have you thought about painting the wheels gloss black?

yeah. but then it will blend into the tire and wheel and that would just be to much black i think. silver looks clean so i think ill just leave em like that.

Okay. Like I said I got it for FREE. I wouldn't take a chance on $60 hoping it works. And my car isn't modded that much, so there isn't much it could hurt...for now.

Anyways. Back on track...I like the silver. They look good like that. If you go any darker it might not look good, but thats just a personal opininon.

I really don't think you're doing yourself any good with that adjustment unit thingy. Check out these links for some good info and clarification of some misconceptions:

Sorry for the derail, but I thought I'd shed some light.

I hope you get everything ironed out with the ticket, Ryan. I'd like to see this car on the road again!

New power bands for sale!!! Only $249!

Wish you had a little more low end torque? Maybe you want a high revving formula1-esque screamer? KaleCoAuto's Adjustable Powerbands are the perfect solution! The power bands are made from titanium-injected rubber, with high grade 440 fasteners. Six links are included. One band is for horsepower, and the other for torque. You may use more than three links per side, but extreme caution should be taken!

And for Ryan since his havent dropped yet, Brass balls!
Ever wonder where those high performance rally car drivers get their brass balls? For the first time ever, brass balls are being made available to the public! Sold in sets of three, Brass Balls are an easy way to increase your performance driving ability. (For off road race use only. Use on street may result in arrest, serious injury, or death.)

And the best performance part out!
You've heard of the Y pipe.. the X pipe.. the H pipe.. nothing can touch the O pipe!!! It provides 100% back pressure feedback on ALL engines!! Torque increase and kuneutson valve float brings in much lower revs so you don't hurt your motor! Not CARB Legal. Please specify standard or polished finish. Product shown is dual input O-Pipe with standard finish.
