This is what interior looks like when a 125lb woman drives it for its entirety, and occasionally a man who took it from her, it was my wife's car...haha
I always liked my 89's. My 89 was just like joe's and his car is very clean. Those were the best aeronose interiors IMO. But now I like the 85/86 better. The seats are more "sporty" looking and the dash has the individual gauges similiar to "pods". I suppose it's also due to being more unique to the fox body platform.

Funny thing is we ordered the car in 89 sight unseen, it was late in the year and they had none on the lot. It comes in and I hate the interior, the plaid just didn't do it for me, but now it's classic and in a way I'm glad I didn't rip it out after all these years.
Sounds pretty agrresive, is that a standard 302 motor ? I think my GT came with Flowmasters, but i am trying to get a more smooth, softer sound. But not too quiet. I'm unsure about either the H-pipe, or the X-Pipe. Don't know if you can ever get that soft sound like the new Mustangs.
Stock bottom end 302 with 100, 000 miles on it, just did the Trick Flow top end , It"s a American Thunder Flowmaster cat back exhaust that's been on there for years with a new BBK x pipe without the cats. A friend of mine had the Flowmaster Force 2 that was I believe a two chamber muffler, it was definitely more civilized

I kinda know how you feel. I'm not old enough to have bought a car new back then, but I've always loved car interiors from the '80s. Especially red interiors.
