So after getting screwed by bodyshop hardcore,
This another crop they pulled showed itself today.

I was driving, and suddenly, i start to hear rattle noise. So i pulled over, and was greeted by this...

View attachment 434922
After they removed my side skirt to work on the rear 1/4, they NEVER bothered to put screw or tape or nothing. it was held on by plastic tab below, which with wind pressure, gave out.
View attachment 434924

And this below pic, u can see that they never bothered to put any screw in it...
you can see back one does have tape, but starts to come out(as evident by departing passenger side rear valance, they used some sort of water soluable tape to put this car back together)...

this is the rear valance comming off of body, because tape is washing away

i'm getting my schools bodyshop directer inspect this whole mess, and have him help me deal with insurance company to end this once for all tomorrow.

I'm tired of dealing with this ****

Take your car to a different bodyshop. Obviously the place you're taking it to is too inept to know the difference between a hole in the ground and their ass let alone how to properly put the bodypanels on your car back together.

If all else fails, sell me your rear valences

good choice to get the insurance company involved. they will either have the shop repair everything to perfection, or will pay to have another shop do it properly. i worked at a shop that did another shops REDO, and it was not pretty. insurance company paid us good money to fix it too!!

if you dont get anywhere on your own with a shop, the insurance company usually will. good luck.

nah man. I mean there is nothing wrong for being meticulous as to how you want your car done. And i am.
But as far as this shop goes, its totaly out of control.

Use tape that is not meant for body so that after one car wash starts to peel off is bad.

Not using any is even worse. And on that pic(2nd from bottom), you can see 2 screw holes.
****ed up part is that when i did the bodykit install, I never drilled extra hole in the car. I used exisiting hole - pain as i can not see the existing hole, it took painstakingly looong time to line everything up, and drill hole on body kit - so that i have no extra hole that can rust.
you know what they say - measure twice, cut once? Well, i measured like 20 times, so that there is NO NEED for extra hole.

That top hole is NOT hole i drilled. bottom one is.
SO they drilled new hole, which is bad enough, and after taking panel off to do the job 2nd(and 3rd) time, they never bothered to tape it or put bolts back in

I mean i take pride in the fact i did everything in this car myself - (spring, transmission, clutch, spoiler, header, side exhaust, bodykit i mean EVERYTHING other then paint. Everything i did is same or morethen likely better then what i would have gotten if i paid some ****wad to do the job. I take alot of pride in that. and they just stepped on that pride with **** covered boots...

And i should have. I was going to take it to the ford dealer that did my bodykits paint. But they were backed up for like month. i wanted my car done now. And 2 month later, i'm still dealing with this ****

It should be no problem to get your car fixed right or at another shop if you want because it was not your fault in the first place. You should be dealing with the person who hit you and their insurance so you can end up charging them and not have to worry until its right.

it must be the roush curse.

the place i went to sucks balls. its seen their shop 6 times after the original paint for fixes. now the paint is just peeling off under the wheel wells because they failed to scuff the surface to adhere. plus i had them respray one side of the hood becasue one day the hood pin cords bent a weird way and started to gouge at the hood during a long trip, and twice they have not removed the orange peel, so one side of the silver hood is dull as hell.

its an ongoing process, which has taught me that next time, ill do it all myself, at least that way theres nobody to blame for ****ups but myself.

Ahh yes the quality of ford, when my rear bumper cover is sagging in the middle, has a paint drip, my repaint is orange peeled and they rewired my subs making them blow

Well, I did not want to come to this, but they(G&W Autobdy) left me no choice. Pandora's box is now been opened.

Insurance company is notified of situation, along with few things - such as bodyshop gets paid by insurance company for new bumper cover, yet use my original bumper(sucks for them as i'm analretentive, and i know my own screw up that i did when i installed the bodykit year and half ago(extra hole due to my miscaliculation), which is still there. Get paid for NEW tail light, but used junk yard piece(with their invoice painted on), how their telling me that line must have been off prior to accident - which i have pic of my car from befor to prove them wrong, pics of their crop, like not using fastner on side panel, and how it came apart while driving, over spray on key hole, spoiler is peeling off now(did I tell u guys about that?), instead of getting reflective bumper letter that i had that they got paid for to replace, get cheap vinyl sticker, and kept money for that -

If i was not welcome back to shop befor, I'm sure i am now...

We'll see where this goes
