MY BRAKES LOCK UP

Sup guys, damnit, the car has been giving me an odd problem that I can't seem to cure!

It's a 96 mustang gt convt, the problem is, my brakes are locked up!

Something is not releasing the brakes on all tires, my brake pedal is all really hard, like it's not releasing pressure or something. Just happened today and my rotors and rims got super hot.

Any ideas?

sure it's all 4 brakes? if it's one then a piston froze, if all of them are then i think your master cylinder is shot

Yeah, all my rotors were scorching hot, water was sizzling on contact.

Master cylinder sounds like it could be it..

Also a quick check to make sure you dont have a contaminated system which can also cause all 4 to lock is to check the rubber in the master cylinder cap for swelling. Hope it isnt because that will require flushing the system and rebuilding all the calipers,or replacing them,whichever you prefer to do.
