Your right about that. I tried that trick when you cross the terminals at the starter solenoid to start the car and got nothing!
I just found my ignition switch in 3 pieces last night as well. Will this cut power to the hole car?
Your right about that. I tried that trick when you cross the terminals at the starter solenoid to start the car and got nothing!I bet $5 you don't have power at the starter solenoid because if you did you would be able to turn the lights on and such at least since they always have power
Update:
I removed all power cables and terminals and cleaned them to death. none of them were bad, it actually looks like its been done fairly recently.
I then whipped out the trusty test light and confirmed battery had juice and applied a fully charged booster pack to it as well. When checking for power at the starter solenoid there was power. I then moved into the passenger compartment with the test light and found the fuse block, ignition switch, and radio feeds all have no juice.
Anyone got any more ideas?
