My car idles pretty good until I turned on the defroster. It's ok while driving but when I come to a light she idles irradically or sometimes wants to die - sometimes immediatley. I'm thinking the problem may be with the TB airflow and ISC but need some expert tuner's advice. I have the ISC Transfer at stock settings and I have the TB airflow at the stock J4J1 setting (.560059).

What could be the problem and what should I attack to correct this problem? :?
.

Thanks

Have you datalogged this happeneing? I would datalog some driving without the defroster, then datalog with the defroster, and compare the two. You should be seeing what needs to be corrected as the two graphs will differ when your cars behavior differs.

What is your idle set at anyway? You might need to turn the hex key screw on your TB and open up your idle air flow. Even the mighty TwEECer can't do that!

I would ensure your isc is operating as it should for the first step. Might want to give it a good cleaning.

Not too long ago I put some info about idle issues on my site that may help you so you may want to cruise over there for a look see.

What do your K's look like at idle before and after you turn on the defroster/ac?

btw ... Have you been to the dyno yet?
