My First Car Being Brought Back To Life! 72 Mach 1

Hi everyone; Thought I'd say hi here and put up what I've bee working on.

Last year I got my 72 mustang going again and have been working on it regularly; its striped down pretty good right now but for good reason, I welded in a new drivers side floor, and got rid of a lot of filth!

The big projects to get it up and running again (since I took it back apart after the first time) are the 8" to 9" swap going from the 3.25 open diff to a 4:11 Trac-Loc. And a disc brake swap back there too.

Also installing a FAST ezEfi 1.0 system with full -6AN fuel system which is almost complete; just gotta button it all up. It did run off it today!

Last chunk of parts showed up to get the car functional again, Rear disc conversion is here; just need to get the hub bore machined to match my axles and get some brake line reducers for the hoses. A second electric fan showed up as well, two 12" electric fans with a combined rating of 3100cfm should be sufficient cooling. Just have to get the wiring for the fan relay all completed and I can clean up the wiring for the efi.

Well the guy at the machine shop went the extra mile to fit in my bit of work today so I got everything mostly in place; still a ways to go but this rear end swap is in it's final run finally. Going from the well aged open diff 3.25:1 8" rear end to a posi 4:11 9 inch.

I am really quite happy with the Right Stuff disc swap; the rotors look awesome (although I'm not really a drilled rotor fan) The setup and install of everything was really quite straightforward (I still have to actually do the Ebrake cables however). Overall the kit is pretty great value for the price. I did have to reduce the fitting size down for my hard-line though (easy to get fittings). Would be nice if the hoses were somewhat shorter, but really not a big deal.
