I'm making my own kit, copied from Kdezines setup.. and modified as I see fit.
I'm almost done, need to stretch out the material on that right corner to flatten it out and attach the front face part that goes to the floor.
I'm probably gonna have to cut a hole in the front most part to make a lid of sorts to access that deep area. I'll have amp wires running through there....

can you post some more pictures of your set-up? did you use mdf or what kind of material? I'm thinking about doing this as well just because the back seat is pointless in these cars.

looks good . i am a converted fan back to the seated look.. i have done rear seat deletes in the past though. those kits are such a rip off. if you aren't lazy and have a way to cut wood, its totally worth doing it yourself.

Thanks guys! I always thought $300-$600 was outrageous for these so I grabbed some cardboard, made templates and jigsawed away. I'm using a 1/2" thick fiberboard for it. I chose it over wood because it retains its flatness better than the 1/2"wood I saw at home depot. They were curved a bit. All in all, its costing me $35 to make it. $22 for the board, $13 for the two carpet rolls. I work at Oreillys so my discount applied on that carpet. I also used small nails made for cloth that I had at home. Much better than $350
