Thanks for the link. A friend had one way back when with a 302. I thought to my self: Self that would make a great sleeper.

new update guys! Car ran 12.85 @ 105 this weekend! Talk about bang for a buck. I have 3,000 in the whole car. 306, C4 and 8.8 w/3.73. It's a ton of fun!!

Cool project. I like the other posters comment about them being "the poor man's mustang". They really are; you seem to always see the fairmonts in my area in the classifieds for like $300-$400.

300-400 bucks man u cant go wrong, the 5.0 stuff is simple to squeeze in. And the lower weight makes them rock. Mine still has the bench seat and all!
