my "new" coupe

picked up my "new" '93 2.3 coupe a couple of weeks ago, just put the rims and headlights on this weekend, what do ya think? mint condition all black interior, 5-speed, good condition, no rust at all, runs pretty good minus a few bugs but that's to be expected for an older car, just gettin her fixed up for a daily driver until i've got the time and $ for a 5.0 conversion, got her for $2000

(my 03 gt in the background, she's the love of my life but unfortunaly i can't afford her anymore, had to let her go )

Nice notch. Is it the lighting or is the bottom panels a different color? The top looks like reef blue.

RedLX, I'm not sure where u are getting the coral part of Reef Blue. It wasn't on my window sticker, just curious if there is something I am missing on the paint color. Not trying to be picky, trying to learn

FBRG has a reef blue and teal metallic, no coral (though I hear it about as much as reef).

I've had a bimini blue and thats not bimini. The bottom though, I am not sure on, it looks like its 2 tone, but could just be the light.

well thanks guys, i actually didn't even know that was the factory color, thought someone had painted it cuz i've never seen it before...it's not 2 tone, just the lighting.

i've been thinking of doing a 2.3T swap before the 5.0 to help me save on gas until i get out of college. how is the turbo on gas milage compared to the n/a and the 5.0?

also is it easier to put a turbo on my existing engine (with over 100k miles on it) or should i just swap out the engine as well?

The turbo will get a little worse gas mileage, but if you stay out of the boost it wont be that bad....and please dont waste your time trying to turbo the stock engine...just do the whole swap
