My new exhaust (soundclip)

Well after 4 hours of struggling I finally got my new BBK headers on. It went pretty well but it was just time consuming. I always see people with soundclips of their cars online so I decided to try it myself. I didnt want to rev it that much because it wasnt quite up to temp so thats why it is slightly hesistating.

Do you guys think the current 2.25" crimp bent tailpipes currently on the car are killing some power and sound? I want to get some SS 2.5 tailpipes but I dont know if its a priority yet, unless my current tailpipes are robbing power. Low end torque is not a concern because the car has 4.10 gears. Im just trying to shave off 4 tenths so I can get into the 12s with stock heads.

you could always go to 5" tips, i mean 3"... even if it dont shave off tenths it will still look good!

I just went for a drive around the block and wow...what a difference. I know that the stock headers are decent but they were a big restriction on my car. Very noticable increase in power.

with street tires:
first gear has no hope
second gear spins all the way through
third finally hooks halfway through

Sounds fantastic at idle but it's a bit tame revving up for me
