My New Mustang Gallery Website

During the last 8 months my car has undergone several changes. To show the final results, I built a website with a gallery/wallpapers and guestbook. If you have time, please take a look at http://www.myfordmustang.com.

What started it all was my black paint going bad (spider webbing) after 23,000 miles - even though it had always been in the garage when not driven.

I contacted Ford and had them pay for most of the cost of repainting it at a Ford body shop - it took them almost 6 months to get it perfect (no orange peel, no swirls, thick layer of hard clear coat, etc). I'm sure neither the body shop staff nor I will ever forget that experience, but that's a long story for another day.

At the same time I had my cloth seats replaced with Katzkin leather seats matching my dark charcoal interior.

I also installed clear corner headlights and clear fog lights with Luminics Ultrawhite 5150k lightbulbs in both the head and fog lights and a 3M ClearMask AR Clear Bra.

That was both for the front and rear. They added some bolster to my seats - e.g. I noticed my front seats had more padding added on the sides when I picked it up, thus making them a bit more bucket seat shaped.

They can also add heating pads, massage pads and numerous other color configuration options.

I recall the leather can be bought from Katzkin for approximately $900 for front and rear seats and I really don't think it would be too hard to install. I had the body shop install it so they would be responsible for any problems if the new paint job got scratched.
