I work at AutoZone and we have had a bunch of Optima's come back within 6 months of purchase. All have tested out bad.

But Im sure they are going to say, "You hooked it up wrong" , "Your alternator was bad and over charged it"

See grasshopper, that is where you are wrong. Ol' girl here is smart and had a "cause and effect" invesigator for the state of Ohio look at the battery and the car right after it happened. I have a written report stating faulty battery due to manufacturing error.

and on a side note i have taken two optima yellow tops back in 6 months because they wouldnt hold a charge so they gave me a red top saying its better. but i killed it (and my GF's gt the other day) in like 3 minutes.
