yesterday i was driving my car for the last time this year. I was stopped behind a new f150 and some kid who got his license last week wasnt paying attention doing 50 in a 35 and i became the cream of an oreo. The car has got to be twisted the hatch wont close the hood wont close both the rear quarters are bowed out my motor and everything under the hood looks like junk. I just got the car running awesome after sticking about 13000 into it over the last 6 months. Luckily the kid has full coverage. How does it work because my car is a total loss and i have way more money stuck into it than its worth? Im still in shock, she was my baby and ill miss her

I don't know how you restrain yourself man. I would in all honesty be in jail on assault charges. My hat is off to your good temper.

That sucks about your car, but at least you're ok. You are ok aren't you?

psshhh total loss, try to buy it back and part it is you best bet with 13k in mods....no doubt its at least worth 3-5k to craiglist vendors and ebay selling just to get rid of the stuff, which could pick up a decently stock ormodded fox whatever floats your boat,

THE CURSE CONTINUES,,,
every time someone gets the work done or goes out for a joy ride this happens....WTF@@@@!!!!!!!!!

pics before and after?

if you have receipts for all the work you have into it you may be able to get an adjusted value. if not just buy it back and part out what you can.

I just went through this over the summer, although it doesn't sound like my accident was as bad as yours. The other person's insurance company kept talking about totalling my car and I kept fighting with them. Fax them every reciept for every part you put on the car. Also, fax them cars in comparable shape from the classifieds. I would call the other person's claims handlermultiple times and just became such a pain in the ass, they fixed the car. Also helped that the other person's adjuster was a mustang freak.

Just as previously said by other members, show them your receipts for parts and let them know you want to buy the car back. When this happened to me last winter I had the car towed to my house. And the insurance people/adjuster came there to look at the car, so I knew no one was stealing parts of it.
