Well i installed some white face gauges and i didnt need to remove the needles, my brother and i could just slide the guages over the needles. Well everything went well and they light up green or blue and everything went back to its original position. My mom and i go out to eat and i start driving and the speedometer doesnt move at all. The tach works and everything else, but the speedo just doesnt move. This has nothing to do with removing needles because it should move no matter what. So any suggestions would help because im in a pissed off/depressed stage because i thought that this install went completly good. Help me out guys. thanks alot.

Did you make sure both wiring connectors were 'snapped' together tightly when you reinstalled the cluster? The speedo is electric so maybe there is a blown fuse.

ya im almost 100% sure that its all together tightly and i think you might be right about it being a fuse because just the speedo isnt working. Im going to pull it out tomorrow, check the gauges, check the connection, and if non of that works, which im sure it wont, then its off to a mechanic.

hey dude i had the same exact problem...when i put in my indiglo gauges i did not have to remove the needle either.... slid right over them...... i think your problem is the new gauges is pressing againts the neelde...so what i did i took a eating fork stuck it under the needle so it will bring the neelde so it would not bind up anymore..that is probly your problem... do that with all the neelde just stick the fork under neath them and that should help you out..99% positve that is ur problem ....let me know how it goes man....

there ya go. the instructions are crap so dont rely on those. but the gauges are good quality and then guy is somewhat fast in responding to questions. I paid for the gauges on tuesday and got them today so its good shipping.
