We have preliminary flow numbers for the heads with the stock valves (1.86/1.46).
After adding the new bigger valves (1.94/1.55)we should gain a little more.

Currently:
ported heads & intakes, custom Comp billet cam, UDP, Alum. DS, PI torque convertor, SCT tune. This is the short list.

I am having a built 4.2 assembled by Delk Performance now to be installed in two weeks.

The current ported heads on my car flow a lot less than the new ones and they are the ones that made 242.232 last December.

Max flow on the current ones are 222 intake 150 exhaust.

On a 3.8 once you start really increasing the HP the torque does not increase as much. That is why I am having a 4.2 built.

It all depends on what you want out of it. There are no aftermarket heads just stock ones worked over. I will have the new 4.2 running by the end of this month so you will see the difference from a 3.8 to a 4.2.
