I was at my local gym here in Houston, Texas 4/22/05 and came out about 1 1/2 hours later and my car was gone. (2000 Mustang V6) Fortunetly my 05' Gt is not being built until May 2, and they found my old car so my insurance should be considering it totaled since it was dumped down a twenty foot embankment and ended up nose down in very muddy water.

Damn, that sucks, dude. I've had three motorcycles stolen and I know how you must feel - except they never found any of mine. At least you've got new wheels on the way.

sorry bout the V6 but the GT will make up for the grief
question, do you know how they stole your car, i.e. did they tow/flatbed, breakin and start it ether with a stolen key from you or from some kind of master key?

I ask because all '05s have the coded/chiped ign key and if they got by that easly that causes concern!

btw i've heard that malls and gyms are prime targets for theft because they watch you go in and know you will be at least while

Mine was a 2000' and it did have a coded chip and an alarm, however they must of had some kind of pass key or by-pass unit. It would probably of been very easy of them to know my pattern since I go the gym usually at the same time 3-4 days a week.
