Well when I finally made it home last night after goining to eat with the family I had a surprise...

I had a nice large box from Texas Mustang sitting at the door...

I tore it open and guess what....MOST of it was there...

unfortunately one of the items I needed the most was not...

I ordered 2 short front pans, 2 front extensions and one pan was missing...on backorder

I had an appoitment tomorrow to drop the car off at the muffler shop for complete exhaust and floor pans...

I guess I will reschedule...

I am still trying to descide on headers....

Patriot Clippster or Tri-y's

This gives me another day to descide...

Is there anyone who is NOT happy with their Tri-y's?

Ron,

I loved my tri Ys. I sold them to someone on this forum

Just wondering...what is the shop charging you for floor pans and exhaust? What work are they doing and what exhaust are you having installed? Reason I ask is because I have someone down there that could probably do it much cheaper than the shop was going to charge.

Wolf

Hey,

I have know the owner of Wolf Muffler for years...

complete exhaust 2 1/4 pipes originally quoted H pipe and flowmasters for 350.00 + 100 headers. I may do the headers myself...

floor pans both side front shorts and floor to firewall 250 max.

Who do you know?

I have dealt with just about everyone up here...even was part owner of a shop for several years...

250 for the front of the floor pans and to the firewall? Thats pretty cheap. The guy down here is a local guy that I work with. His is an SAE certified mechanic and was a body man for 15 years before coming to work with us.

He did my fulll length floor pans and cowl replacement for $1000. I supplied the parts and disassembled my front end.

Cool

This guy is good...

I would imagine that the cowl would be a good bit more...

I have to check mine again...mine was fine back in 92.....
