Hi All,
I took my car out today to try to run some gas out of it. I am putn on calipers, hoses, crossdrilled/slotteds and pads AND a 155p fuel pump.
So to make a long story short, when I hit the gas, the idle sometimes stays where it revved up to or surges a little higher and holds and/or comes back down slowly. Whatz up with that? Items to note:
I have a brand new 65mmFRP throttle body with all new electrical parts and has been working fine for a few weeks now. Plugs, and wires and cap is new...hmm.. what else..I poped the hood and tried to see if the throttle springy wasn't doing its job. It works fine.. What could be wrong?
Only change I have made is pulled the smog pump last week and replaced with a smog delete, plugged the holes in baclk of the cylinder heads and h-pipe tube...
MAF is clean and has 149k on it.
