I think you will probably have better luck on Corral.. Doesn't seem like many people run AFM cams on Stangnet... (not the 94/95 section anyway) You might want to Check on ebay for someone selling one of those cams, They will most likely give out the specs for it..

Well i used what AFM suggested to me for a cam... Then with the same setup i switched to an FTI cam... I simply made more power and faster with the FTI cam, not to mention my car idled a lot better with more loop... Why spend 280 on a SHELF Cam from AFM when you can get a custom ground from FTI for just a little more. (by the way i have heard that there a few cams that have the same specs on them as comp and the TFS cam with the AFM name on them :notnice: )

AFM will grind you a custom cam if you give them the exact specs you want... Thats what they told me... Wasn't impressed with there service or attitude.

That will be 20$ ED for the "free" advertisement...

Yeah I was in the same boat as 95snoozer. FTI definitely did not seem to want my business when I was in the market for a camshaft, so I bought an Anderson cam. When I bought it I didn't know a whole lot about camshafts, so I didn't know they aren't really "custom" ground. However, I'm pleased with the results so far. I wouldn't care if I had a few less horsepower than I could've had with an FTI cam, they were very rude to me. Anyways I hope you read the specs I put up above. I think the N-41 and N-412 are very similar.

OMG dude, you wont buy from him and thats it. If i may ask what exactly did he say to offend you. if you don't have a good reason it is kinda childish isn't it.

I said I was gonna go for 12s on stock heads and he said I needed to get a clue

thast and I am not really impressed at all with their numbers. I have seen more out of comp extreme cams and afrs

I am going with a P head setup myself.... I told him I wanted the most power and wasnt worried about how agressive the cam was and that I have flycut pistons. he suggested an N-41 with 1.7s..... I didnt know if I could clear that cam so i was trying to find the specs.

I will probably go with the n-21, n-41, or the b-21.

here is a 94 with box stock gt40Ps afm b-25, long tubes, full exhaust, cobra intake, 24# and maf that made 297/325 with stock computer.... as you can see his springs limited the dyno pull and he later upgraded.

afr/fti users often mention the "area under the curve".. well I say thats a pretty good area under the curve :)

the b31 and b21 are the b25 replacement so Its kinda hard to variate from what really works

well i am sure that people that are blunt and to the point, can easily offend people. I would assume that an individual like Ed running a business etc. doesn't really want to cater all his time to a certain project such as running 12's on stock heads. I have never heard of anyone doing that, in a 94-95. However if you had said that you wanted to make the most power possible on stock heads, and wanted a cam to help, that he would have acoomidated you and continued to be a business man.

Anyhow, i will see because i have sent him an e-mail, and will see what his reply is, and how his customer service seems to be.

Not knocking you man, just curious, especially since i am considering doing business with him.

I could see how Ed could come off wrong, but i don't think he means anything by it... Anyways i had the B31 cam and idling was hit and miss... It either idled or it DIED..

I tryed to talk to the guy about my setup at AFM and he just sorta blew me off.. Told me i was probably only going to make like 315 horsepower...
I also didn't like the idea that they only tune cars with there 1000+ dollar tuner or manualy with the fuel pressure and timing, They don't believe in chips and don't recommend them... They are out there to make money and it was apparent...

Had a local guy who sent rick anderson a letter about a build up he was wanting to do.. NO responce, he sent another certified letter and no responce... This was like weeks later he finally called and asked for Rick personally... he told him that he just blew a 20k job and hung up the phone... (whats that too rick though?) He then went to Robbin Lawrence and he helped him out...

yeah... I would love AFRS, but there is no way for me purchase them within the next 2 years, yet I can P heads with the springs I want ans a good cam all for less than the cost oif afrs and maybe make some good times ;)
