Hey guys. I'm starting to think about selling the FRPP roots blower I have and heading for the N/A route. I have a few reasons for that, being that 1) I have always been a fan of "all motor" horsepower, 2) Blown gt motors can tend to be ticking time bombs that I can't afford to repair, and 3) I really, really want to do some kind of shaker system on my car, and it won't work with the blower setup I have. The blower is sitting in my shed, so right now the car is pretty stock and waiting to head down one of these routes. So here's what I'm thinking, and about where will this put me? I have an 04 GT with TR-3650 transmission:
Accufab 70mm TB
Roush CAI
Accufab upper intake plenum
VT stage 1 N/A cams (don't want to change valve springs)
Shorty headers (not sure which brand...)
MAC catted Prochamber (have to pass emissions, and evil cops around here actually look for cats and are hard on noisy cars)
Borla stinger catback or CDC side exhaust (I know side exhaust costs a few HP, but I love the look)
Karkraft shaker hood scoop system
Steeda underdrive pulleys
Sniper 93 octane custom tune
3.73s
FRPP aluminum driveshaft
I feel like this setup would be pretty darn reliable, and a fun street car to drive. I'd like to get close to 300 RWHP. So, what do you think a setup like this would do?
