I want a bullit proof, reliable 350+ to the wheels in a stroker.

Please post your combo or let me know how to get there. It will be EFI.

I will go custom cam and use AFR heads. i have an MSD, 30lb injectors a 75MM Prom Mass Air and a 70MM TB along with a hogged out Cobra upper and lower.

these will get me there.. what else do I need? Would like power from 1,500 to 6,000!

you aren't going to get 350+ to the wheels with a basic stroker using those parts.

I think you are going to need at least 10.5:1 compression and might as well go with a 347. Are you constrained to using a 302 based motor...what about a 351 based stroker??? 408w???

If you have to stick with the 347 combo you are going to need some AFR 185's, custom cam and something a little bigger than a ported cobra intake. probably something like a ported systemax or ported RPM II or TFS-R. The throttle body will do but a 75mm would be slightly better. You might want to think about a bigger MAF, maybe a 90mm Pmass or Lightning MAF. This motor is really going to need to breath to make 350+ rwhp. Full exhaust is a must.

I don't agree. I have a buddy with a 347 using what I have as far as injectors, mass air and tb and he does 368 to the wheels. I want to here REAL deals. Not what you think but what you know!

He is a member on this site. Paul goes by killercanary.

I believe he ran 115.XX mph, and at the good track he goes to, he says he runs 2 mph faster. So that is 117.XX mph.

This is all with 8.89:1 compression, if I recall and a race weight of 36XX lbs.

Rick @ RNH did a good job with that engine. If Ed would set him up with a 331 camshaft, instead of his old FTI 302 camshaft, that would be a little screamer for a 331.

356 out the back with a 65mm TB and 165 AFRs... that's impressive IMO.
You wouldn't happen to have the run sheet or trap speed on that setup would you?

I would since I built it..lol

One more tid bit on that motor is, it is set-up for boost with a dish piston and around 9:5:1 compression. The motor is a basic forged stroker, upgraded valve train in the 165's, custom hyd cam made for his old 302 set-up (small by comparassion to what I use for strokers)

I will be honest I'd rather have something other then a ported Cobra on a stroker, with a 185cc+ head.

My 408 is making 417whp @ 5300 and 437wtq @4700.

AFR 205 heads, custom cam, TFS box R intake, 42 lb/hr injectors and 10.9:1 compression.

Still hoping to get a bit more power out of it this year with some "tweaks" before I put the nitrous on.

Rick built my motor also, and our goal was 350rwhp NA at 9:1 compression because i want to add boost later on. We always hope for more, but it seems pretty common for 8.2 deck strokers to make that number with proven parts. Im hoping to have my Dart motor running in a few weeks. Now the car will be tuned on a Mustang Dyno so we will have to see. 350 on a Mustang Dyno would be frickin outstanding!

350hp is super easy with a 331 or 347.

Rick built my 347 3 years ago and I am very happy with the work! Not that i'd every dyno it, but it should make near 400rwhp.

I'm interested in seeing what you make, Just4bob. Our combo's look similar on paper but they're very different.

I was looking to you for my engine, but i never heard back from you? Send me a PM with some quotes..

Tmoss will be porting the Cobra intake.
