N00B question on Bumpsteer

So with the new wheels I've installed a few weeks ago there are several issues regarding steering I wanted to clear up. First off, they are 17x9's in the front with 275's on them.
First problem is my steering wheel, which used to be straight, is now tilted about 10 degrees right. The alignment seems decent (may pull slightly more right, but not enough to complain about) Why would changing wheels cause the steering wheel to misalign?

Second questoin is regarding bumpsteer, which I've never really experienced so I just want to check to see if that's what I've got. I've got H&R springs on, no CC plates or any other front end suspension, and I am feeling the road quite a bit more than I was before. Not necessarily just over bumps, just the curve of the road kinda pulls me back and forth a little.
I'm really looking to tighten up the front end a little and was wondering what's the best bang for buck as far as getting everything a little tighter. Bumpsteer kit? Spindles? Anything else?? Help!!

Whenever you get new wheels or add front suspension stuff, its always a good idea to get your alignment checked and fixed, if needed.

Bumpsteer is when you hit a bump and your car veers another direction, even though you held the steering wheel straight and/or didn't intend to change direction at a significant amount. A good alignment can fix many steering issues.

Better steering: Maximum Motorsports aluminum steering rack bushings and steering shaft. The bushings are center drilled and work great. Also, consider new endlinks and possibly new front 03/04 Cobra A Arms, if yours are worn or stock.

What type of H&R springs do you have? Sport, Super Sport, Race, etc. They are all very different in lowering amount vs. spring rate.

Wider tires are going to give you more feel and will react a little more to the road, but it shouldn't be rediculous.

Also don't rule out a bad radial. If you swap wheels around and the issue follows the wheel/tire or goes away, you're onto something.

the wider the tire the more it will want to move side to side( it grabs more)

take it to a shop so they can aligne it right make sure it right.
