Ok guys. If I can figure out what mid-pipe, and catback this guy has, I have DEFINITELY made up my mind on the exhaust I'm going with. The only thing I know is its got Kooks long tubes. Any guesses on the mid-pipe and cat-back?

that's an 03 cobra with a DOHC engine. if you have a 98 gt, it will be very difficult to get the exact sound even if you have the same exhaust setup. the engine has a big part in determining the sound also, not just the exhaust.

anyways, it sounds like it has an x-pipe, not sure about the catback though

X pipe and Magnapacks or LM-II's would be my guess. Its pretty rhaspy, doesnt sound like a chambered muffler at all.

All I know is that I want that thing.

Yeah, I want it too!!! It deffinately had an off-road mid pipe, probably an X, not sure what brand though, the catback is too hard to tell, but as was stated earlier, it's deffinately the engine that is the contributing factor to the noise that Stang was making...very sweet!!

not being too familiar with catbacks and how they sound, I think the car almost sounded like one of the SLP catbacks at 1st listen. I've heard a few cars with the slp exhaust and that's what it sounded like too me.

lol im pretty sure it is.

i'd have to agree with BurningRubber.
probably loudmouth II's or magnapacks with offroad X. its really crackly and raspy. mine sounds pretty close to that.

eh, I didn't like that Cobra's sound, sounded like a crotch rocket to me. I have a Loudmouth catback and sound nothing like that, mine sounds much meaner and deeper. Maybe it's my stock H pipe though.

It was. Thats the one I'm talking about. And I know it will sound a bit different on my GT. But thats the type of sound I'm looking for. So Packs, Loudmouth, those are most likely the setups?
